More than 10,000 people had to stay at the venue overnight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the Portugal <strong>Pavilion<\/strong>, the <strong>staff<\/strong> decided to help visitors. They opened the gallery so people could rest inside. They also sold beer and soft drinks. This was not planned by the Expo <strong>organizers<\/strong> \u2014 it was the idea of the pavilion workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Masha Bandjur, 30, was a <strong>supervisor<\/strong> at the Portugal Pavilion. Her job was to manage the <strong>staff<\/strong> and solve problems. That night, someone said, \u201cWhat if we sell beer?\u201d Soon, many people came to buy drinks. Everything sold out! Families with children also came to rest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other pavilions helped too \u2014 Korea gave juice and Germany gave candy. The USA Pavilion joined and played music.
